The Judiciary Training Institute and Dr. Maureen Mapp, University of Birmingham Law School will be hosting a two-day knowledge exchange workshop on "Gender Inequality in Sentencing and Community Responsive Policies" at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Kampala on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th April 2019. Speakers include Ministers, the Chief Justice, the Principal Judge and members of civil society.

The participants are drawn from the Judiciary, the Sentencing Guidance Committee of the Judiciary and from civil society. The event is co-funded by the Judicial Training Institute of Uganda and the University of Birmingham Institute for Global Innovation.
